You’ve designed and built your app. Now, you’re ready to publish! Since Thunkable allows you to build one app that works both on Android and iOS devices, most Creators who want to distribute their app with larger audiences choose to publish in both the Apple App and Google Play Stores.
The Apple App Store review is typically more rigorous and consequently more time-intensive than the Google Play Store review--but both stores are continually raising the bar for what can be listed in their stores.
The amount of active published apps a Creator may have depends on their plan. Please refer to our pricing page for more information: Thunkable pricing. Active App Publishing Limits are based on the App (Bundle) ID used in your project.
To view your current active published apps:
Click your account avatar in the upper right.
Select Published Apps.
From here, you will see how many published apps you have available and be able to select which published app you wish to keep active.
Depending on which Thunkable plan you have, you will be able to select which apps are active for publishing. Only users on our Builder and Advanced plans will have a limit to their Active Published Apps.
You will receive a reminder each time you publish a new app that you may need to unpublish any active apps beyond the limit of your plan.
Please note, if you try to select more active apps for publishing than your account allows, you will receive an error:
To deactivate an app so that you can activate another one, toggle the switch next to the name of the app. An active app will be toggled to blue, and inactive toggled to grey.
If you downgrade plans and exceed the available limit of active apps, you must immediately comply with the new thresholds, and any active published apps not activated in your account settings will become inaccessible.
If you have recently downgraded, you will see an error on your published app. Please use the guidance in Active App Publishing Limits to ensure the correct app is available to your users if your plan allows for a certain number of active published apps. It can take up to 24 hours to update your account and remove this warning from your published app.
